1. What brought you to the CrossFit Closer family in the first place?
I saw my friend after a very long time and her physique really surprised me. I asked her literally, how the f#@k did you get a body like that?!?!?!She told me trained at CrossFit Fortis in Orleans, and how she was addicted to it. I was looking for a change and hell ya, a body like that so I started my research on CrossFit. Why this location? I have known Diana for a very long time and occasionally would bump into her at Goodlife and she told me about CrossFit Closer. I was looking for a BOX and she just gave me nudge in the right direction. 2. What's your proudest moment so far? When I started CrossFit did not have the strength to lift up anything heavy let alone swing from a bar. I am still far from doing a toe to bar but the knees are getting higher and higher, so for me to see this, I feel proud and excited. 3. What's your best / funniest CrossFit Closer story or experience? To have fallen over backwards many times when doing snatches, at first I was very embarrassed and hoped no one saw me, but I guess after falling over a few times, you kind of get used to it and get over it! I also have to add, the first time I did cleans, I was very sore and went to work with what looked like a hickey on my collarbone! It freaked me out but my coach reassured me, its normal! I am happy and proud to be a member of CrossFit Closer as everyone is like a family and very supportive! Nin Sandhu
