We believe that no one is too old, too young, too overweight, or not strong enough to be considered an athlete. Our members come from all over, it doesn’t matter what you look like or how old you are. There is no need to already be ft or strong to get started, you'll get fit and strong by starting!
We practice functional movements, which means we train you in the movements that you do in your life outside of the gym. Our foundation is based on learning to squat, which can be as simple as sitting down and standing up. From there we teach you to lift things from the floor, and put things over your head safely. From a solid foundation we build our movements in intensity and complexity. All of the skills and movements are scalable to your specific needs, whether is it your first day, have certain limitations, or may be working through an injury. We are always able to accommodate!
Every class is under the watchful eye of our expert coaches, and you will receive personal instruction and interaction with the coach to ensure you are moving safely and efficiently. What to expect
Each group class includes a general and specific warm up tailored specifically to the skills and movements you will practice that day. From there we move through a skill focused portion, this will vary from day to day ranging from squats or strength work to bodyweight movements. After the skill, we have the WOD (workout of the day), which is also constantly varied in the movements, format, time, and intensity. We finish each class with some mobility to help improve range of motion and encourage proper recovery. We have fun, celebrate PR's, encourage each other, and give high fives.
We begin every group class with our renowned Paleo Circle, where members sit together and enjoy some ice breakers while encouraging everyone to get to know each other. We have an incredible community built on a supportive, inclusive and positive culture. Our members introduce themselves to anyone they don't know, and are known for doing activities outside of the gym. We have a community events committee who plan and organize events and activities for members to enjoy both inside and outside of the gym.
